Vikram has been an active venture investor in India over the last 17 years. He has successfully invested in — and had exits from — his early- and growth-stage investments in fintech, SaaS, education and logistics
Prior to founding Mayfield India, Vikram was a founding member of JM Financial Investment Managers Limited, a broad-based, multi-sector private equity fund. While there, Vikram helped raise the fund and led some of the key investments and served on several boards.
Prior to joining JM Financial Investment Managers Limited, Vikram worked for Cisco’s investment arm, where he led investments in India. Prior to that, he was involved in one of the earliest venture capital funds in India, Infinity Venture Fund. Vikram’s prior experience includes working at Chase and Barclays Capital as part of their investment banking practices in Mumbai for four years.
Vikram received his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s in Management Studies from the University of Bombay.Full Bio
Nikhil is an experienced investor, entrepreneur, and banker. Nikhil has been leading investments since founding Mayfield India in 2007. As an entrepreneur, he was founding CEO of SUN F&C, one of India’s first privately owned mutual fund houses. His investment banking experience was with EY’s corporate Finance Group in London and New York.
Nikhil is a Chartered Accountant from the ICAEW and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai.

Zareer has been a part of the investment team at Mayfield India since 2014 working on investments across the education, consumer media, logistics, fintech, and healthcare verticals. Prior to joining Mayfield India, Zareer was part of the investment team at GenNext Ventures, the Venture Capital arm of Reliance Industries, where he focused on big data, security, and technology sectors. Before GenNext, he was with one of India’s leading audit and assurance firms Kalyaniwalla & Mistry.
At Mayfield, Zareer has worked on multiple portfolio companies including Amagi, LEAP, Simplilearn, Strata and M1xchange amongst others.
Zareer is an Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
Ketaki oversees all legal and regulatory aspects of Mayfield India operations, and her primary focus is deal structuring and execution.
Prior to Mayfield India, Ketaki was General Counsel, India, for Acumen Fund, a global social venture fund investing in early stage social enterprises in India. Prior to Acumen, Ketaki was a corporate and transactional lawyer with Wadia Ghandy & Co., a full service law firm in Mumbai, where she led several cross-border transactions across sectors.
Ketaki holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from Kings College, University of London and an LLB from ILS Law College, Pune, India.Full Bio
