Shivani Gupta spearheads the Strategy and Programs function at Mayfield, where she leads firm-wide initiatives across thesis development, content creation, events strategy, and ecosystem engagement. She shapes the firm’s point of view on emerging trends - including GenAI - and brings it to life through strategic programs like the Mayfield AI Garage. She also partners with Portfolio companies to help them with their growth strategies.
Before joining Mayfield, Shivani was at McKinsey & Co. There, she cultivated Generative AI expertise and thought leadership firm-wide. She also brings operating experience from her time in product and strategy roles at Flipkart in India.
Shivani holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
