Irving focuses on early-stage investments in the AI and Enterprise sector. He has been closely involved with the firm’s investments in Inception Labs, Numeral, Supio, and others unannounced, as well as initiatives like the Mayfield AI Garage.
Prior to Mayfield, Irving was an operator in tech where he was an ML engineering lead, data scientist, and product manager at Facebook/Instagram, Slack, Airbnb, and Ethos.
Irving received his BS and MS in Computer Science and his MBA from Stanford, where he was a Terman Award recipient and an Arjay Miller Scholar.
