We brought the Mayfield AI Garage to HumanX, hosting a pitch competition featuring an exceptional group of founders. Our ultimate winner, Modo Learning—led by Johnny Chang and Angelina You—is building an AI platform that helps employees use the right tools at the right time, while giving leadership clear visibility into adoption and productivity impact.
We partnered with WashU’s Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship to support student builders turning bold AI ideas into real-world companies. Our 2026 winners, Eli Abdou (MD ’29) and Jeffrey Chen (BS ’27), are building NeuroMap, a clinical decision support tool that synthesizes millions of neuroscience publications and maps insights to specific brain regions. The platform equips neurosurgeons with evidence-backed guidance tailored to each patient’s surgical target.
Together with SaaStr, we brought the Mayfield AI Demo Stage to life. Following a highly competitive process with over 200 applications and more than 50 live demos, Mosaic was selected as the winner. Founded by ex-Tesla engineers Adish Jain and Kyle Wade, Mosaic is poised to transform video editing with its AI-driven automation technology. Learn more about Mosaic.
Twenty women took the stage at TiEcon for the Mayfield AI Garage “She Pitches, She Wins” competition. Designed to empower the next generation of female AI founders, the event culminated in a win for Atronous AI, led by Jayashree Dutta.
