The next generation of AI founders is emerging as we speak – especially in dorm rooms, research labs, and garages! The Mayfield AI Garage is back at Berkeley for year two.
We’re excited to bring the Mayfield AI Garage back to UC Berkeley as a launchpad for founders at inception, backing builders before traction, before scale – when conviction matters most. This program is about meeting builders where they are and providing the mentorship, resources, and confidence to turn ideas into real companies.
We’re proud to partner again with UC Berkeley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS) and Berkeley SkyDeck to support the next generation of Berkeley founders building the future of AI.
Selected teams will receive:
New this year: the program is now open to current UC Berkeley students and Berkeley alumni for up to three years post-graduation, expanding the Garage to support even more builders.
