Tejas Maniar advises portfolio companies on building the people side of their business — attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Key responsibilities include working with portfolio companies on their strategies for organizational planning, hiring, compensation, benefits, leadership, employment brand, and retention. He also leads Mayfield’s people network, focused on establishing relationships with top talent leaders across key industries.
Tejas’ operational experience includes working for Google, where he built and led teams in strategy/analytics, marketing, and people operations. He has also worked as a strategy consultant and an executive search consultant advising CEOs on all aspects of hiring, organizational strategy, compensation, and leadership. Early in his career, Tejas was the second in charge at a start-up that was successfully sold.
Tejas holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Case Western Reserve’s Weatherhead School of Management, and a BS in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
