Tejas Maniar works across both the operating and investing teams at Mayfield. He oversees the people and talent function where he advises portfolio companies on attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Key responsibilities include working with portfolio companies on their strategies for organizational planning, hiring, compensation, benefits, leadership, employment brand, and retention.
Tejas’ operational experience includes working for Google, where he led teams in strategy/analytics, marketing, and people operations. He has also worked as a strategy consultant and executive search consultant. Early in his career, Tejas was on the founding team of a start-up which was successfully acquired.
Tejas holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Case Western Reserve’s Weatherhead School of Management, and a BS in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
