Janice Roberts
Janice Roberts is a global communications executive and entrepreneur. She invests in mobile, wireless, communications and consumer technology companies.
Prior to joining Mayfield Fund, Janice built a successful early-stage investment portfolio as president of 3Com Ventures. She also held various executive positions at 3Com Corporation where she led 3Com's global marketing and business development operations and a number of the company's new business initiatives, including the highly successful Palm Computing subsidiary. Previously, Janice was managing director and president of BICC Data Networks, which was acquired by 3Com in 1992.
In addition to her investment portfolio, she serves on the boards of ARM Holdings plc, RealNetworks, Inc. and is an advisor to Illuminate Ventures, which primarily invests in companies that are inclusive of women entrepreneurs. Janice teaches entrepreneurship and venture capital at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Janice holds an honors degree in commerce from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
