Vishal Dixit has diverse private equity and venture capital experience in enterprise services, technology, healthcare, infrastructure, and consumer sectors, across multiple markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, and India. In addition, he has grassroots experience in the education, healthcare, and rural sectors in India.
Prior to joining MF Advisors, Vishal was a Director at Zephyr Peacock, where he was a founding team member of four India-focused private equity and venture capital funds and sat on the Investment Committee of the Zephyr Peacock III India fund. He led Zephyr’s investments in and served on the boards of Aizant (life sciences product development), E2E Rail (railway technology services), and Pennar PEBS (pre-engineered construction). He has also been closely involved with another nine investments, including Maxop (engineering components), Trimax (IT services), and Miles (financial services software). Prior to Zephyr, Vishal worked with Macquarie Capital’s principal investments group in New York and with Actis Capital in London.
Vishal’s experience includes serving the Secretariat for the Indian Prime Minister’s Committee on Infrastructure, where he assisted on multibillion dollar initiatives and transactions in infrastructure sectors, including the $6 billion privatization of the Mumbai and Delhi airports. He has also worked in the education, healthcare, and rural sectors with the United Nations and the Planning Commission of India.
Vishal received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Sydenham College in Mumbai, a Master of Arts in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from Bombay University, and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
