Rajeev Batra
Rajeev Batra has over 10 years of experience in venture capital and invests and works with companies in the enterprise software, SaaS, analytics and consumer sectors. He currently serves on the board of directors of Cloud9, Red Beacon, ServiceMax and Viralheat and is a board observer of Marketo and WideOrbit.
Rajeev has held sales, marketing, product and technical positions at high growth software companies such as Siebel Systems, Scopus Technology and Open Environment Corporation (OEC), which pioneered service oriented and three-tier computing: the general concepts defining modern software architecture and the open Web. He was a key contributor in OEC's growth from a bootstrapped startup to its IPO and acquisition by Borland. Rajeev was also a member of the founding team of NetNumina Solutions, an IT consulting firm, which was acquired by Keane.
Prior to joining Mayfield, Rajeev was at American Capital Strategies (NASDAQ: ACAS), Mobius Venture Capital (fka Softbank Venture Capital) and Austin Ventures.
Rajeev received an MBA from Harvard Business School, Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and a BSEE Honors from the University of Maryland, College Park.
