Getting Involved
Teamwork and personal involvement extend beyond the workplace. Our investors and entrepreneurs are active in the community and are committed to making a positive impact on people's lives. Through such organizations as the Mayfield Fellows Program, the Mayfield Fund Foundation and the Entrepreneurs Foundation, we make a difference.
The Mayfield Fellows Program, established at Stanford University in 1996 and at UC Berkeley in 2001, fosters entrepreneurial development among 12 top engineering students each year through a unique combination of coursework, summer internships and ongoing mentoring and networking activities.
The Mayfield Fund Foundation, established in 1997, donates a portion of our financial success to non-profit organizations in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. Recipients include a broad range of health, social services and art organizations.
Entrepreneurs Foundation (EF), established in 1998, matches companies with non-profit organizations in the Bay Area to create a culture of community involvement and philanthropy within entrepreneurial companies. EF promotes a program of volunteerism and funding through appreciated stock donated early in a company's life.
