Mayfield Expands Team With Former Ticketmaster, NeoPath Execs

Mayfield Fund announced that two former executives have joined the firm as entrepreneurs-in-residence.
Sean Moriarty, former chief executive of Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc., will evaluate companies in consumer, e-commerce and new mobile applications and tap networks in Los Angeles, where he is based. He resigned from Ticketmaster in March. Prior to Ticketmaster, he was part of the technology team at Citysearch.
Rajeev Chawla, former CEO of NeoPath Networks Inc., acquired by Cisco Systems Inc. in 2007, will evaluate opportunities in the cloud computing and storage space. He worked on Cisco's cloud computing strategy until leaving the company in August. Before NeoPath, Chawla was vice president of engineering and chief technology officer at Ingrian Networks Inc., a data-encryption company that he co-founded.
